History of Nepal
During the 18th Century, Nepal clashed head to head with the British troops of the East India Company during the Anglo-Nepali War. Despite facing an advanced military troop armed with modern weaponry, the fierce Gurkha soldiers of Nepal crushed the British troops and earned a lot of fame and respect from the East India Company for their military ferocity & valor. The war ended with the signing of the Sugauli Treaty. Presently, it is the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal. Nepal is the hometown of Siddhartha who was born in Lumbini.
Cuisine
Nepal serves an array of lip-smacking dishes, influenced by the neighbouring countries India, China, and Tibet, the food found here are not just delicious but are also the blend of flavours. Momos is one of the most popular dishes in Nepal, followed by Wo (pancake), Sel Roti. Yomari (it is a sweet dish made of rice dough and stuffed with a paste made of coconut, sesame seeds and molasses), Gundruk (fermented pickle), Gorkhali Lamb, Juju Dhau (curd), Chatamari (kind of pizza), Thukpa, Tongba (Tibetan Beer) are amongst the few must-try food items.

Chitwan
Located in the southern part of Nepal, Chitwan is famous for Chitwan National Park spread over an area of 952.63 sq km. if you have a thrust to experience the exotic wildlife and the explore at its best, this national park offers an opportunity to come across a variety of mammals, reptiles and birds, and some well preserved endangered species such as the Greater one-horned rhinoceros and the Royal Bengal tiger.
